Yuva movie is a 2004 Bollywood Action-political thriller film directer is Mani Ratnam and Writer is Anurag Kashyap. The film was simultaneously shot in Tamil as Aaytha Ezhuthu and in Hindi, and is based on the storyline of students entering politics.

The film tells the stories of three young men from completely different group of society and how one fateful incident on Kolkata’s Howrah Bridge which changes their lives forever.The narrative of the story is partially in hyperlink format.

Yuva Movie is releasing on 21st May, 2004 with Positive Critical reviews and Box office wise average success. This film is earlier named HowraBridge, But Later changed to Yuva.

Production :

• Hrithik Roshan, Shahrukh Khan was initially offered to play a supporting role, but Both Actor’s Turn Down and was replaced by Abhishek Bachchan.
• Uday Chopra expressed his interest to play the lead role but his weak acting career and insufficient experience did not convince the producers to cast him.
• During the shooting of the final fight sequence on Howrah Bridge between Abishek Bachan and Vivek Oberoi, Vivek Oberoi broke his leg when he tried to avoid an oncoming motorcycle.

This film reviews are Mostly Positive, IMDB Public Reviewing site have 7.4 Star out of 10 with more than 8300 users gave their voting, Times of India gave 4 star out of 5 star.

Ajay Devgan and Abhishek Bachchan was praised by the critics for hints of a rustic ‘angry young man’ type performance in the film. It was reported that the movie had the Story-narrative style of the 2000 Mexican movie Amores Perros.
