Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 Movie is an 2013 Indian Bollywood action comedy film directer is Sangeeth Sivan. It is a sequel to the 2011 film, Yamla Pagla Deewana and the second installment of Yamla Pagla Deewana film series. It Stars are Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol from the previous film, with Neha Sharma and Kristina Akheeva as the female leads role.

The film’s theatrical trailer was released on 27 March 2013 on YouTube, and its music rights were acquired by Yash Raj Films. Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 was released on 7 June 2013.

Story of The Film :

The trio of Dharam (Dharmendra), Paramveer (Sunny Deol) and Gajodhar (Bobby Deol) reunite, this time in the UK. Paramveer opens up the “Yamla Pagla Deewana” club and crosses paths with with Dharam and Gajodhar after their last visit to Canada. Now, the trio are back with double the fun, double the action, with the presence of a fool (Johnny Lever), and double the romance, with Suman (Neha Sharma) and Paramveer’s love Reet (Kristina Akheeva).

Production :

A sequel to Yamla Pagla Deewana was announced after the success of the original, and it Start film shooting in September 2012. The UK casting coordinator was Sany Supra, founder and CEO of Crown Global Agency.

Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 was producer are Dharmendra and his production company, YPD Films UK, and distributer is Sunny Sounds. Online promotion was by Yash Raj Films, with its trailer and song promos uploaded to the YRF YouTube channel.

Film Shooting :

UK locations were in Leicester, Birmingham and London, with filming beginning on 17 September 2012 in Leicester.

Film Casting :

Although Asin was offered the female lead, the actress had scheduling conflicts. The director and production team cast Neha Sharma after seeing her in Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum.

Development :

After the success of Yamla Pagla Deewana, Dharmendra announced a sequel. When the original director Samir Karnik opted out of the sequel, Sangeeth Sivan agreed to write and direct. Sunny Deol’s son, Rocky, was assistant director. In January 2013 shooting began in Mandav, Maheshwar and Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

A sequel to the 2011 hit ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’, ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2’ is a one-time watch. This over-the-top slapstick comedy will appeal mostly with the masses.

‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2’ Synopsis: The father-son are back at conning people, but this time again, the only honest chap in their family has come to stop them.

‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2’ is loud, zany & over-the-top. The Screenplay offers some funny moments, but could’ve been funnier & smarter for sure. Sangeeth Sivan’s Direction is fair. Cinematography is eye-filling. Editing isn’t sharp. Songs are foot-tapping.

Performance-Wise: The Deols are a pleasure to watch, yet again! The lovable Dharmendra is flawless, Sunny is efficient & Bobby impresses big time. It wouldn’t be wrong to say, that they make this otherwise routine comedy watchable. Neha Sharma adds the glamour quotient. Annu Kapoor fails to impress. Even the English accent looks very fake. Anupam Kher in a brief role, tries hard. Johny Lever & Sucheta Khanna are funny.

On the whole, ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2’ is primarily aimed at the masses.
