Murder 2 movie is a 2011 Bollywood psychological horror-slasher Movie. This film leading Star cast are Emraan Hashmi, Jacqueline Fernandez and Prashant Narayanan and Sulagna Panigrahi. Directer is Mohit Suri and producer Mukesh Bhatt.

Murder 2 movie is Sequel of Murder 1 movie is releasing on 2004.It is one of the highest grossing Bollywood films of 2011. The film is known to be based on the 2008 South Korean movie The Chaser, though Mukesh Bhatt denied this and said that it was inspired from the 2006 Nithari killings in Noida. Murder 3 Movie sequel of this series is releasing on 15th February 2013.

Pre-post Production :

Murder 2 movie shooting done mostly in Mumbai and Goa. Earlier, Bipasha Basu was casted for lead actress, but she denied. Then Mohit Suri offered the main role to Asin Thottumkal but, she thought the role of lead actress is not so powerful so she also refused to do this role. Then Sonal Chauhan offer the role, she is also denied then finally casted Jacqueline Fernandez. Bipasa was also offered the item song “Aa Zara”. When she denied, then Yana Gupta doing the item song .
The song “Haal-E-Dil” had to be re-shot to make it more suitable for television promos.

Yana Gupta’s item song “Aa Zara” was removed on television promos as it was too explicit and suggestive for audiences under 18. Instead, the item song was shot with Jacqueline Fernandez and Emraan Hashmi, which was shown on television. The original item song with Yana was showed in the film.

The DVD format of the movie was released on 1 August 2011.
