Kartoos movie is a 1999 Bollywood Indian Hindi action film directer is Mahesh Bhatt and starring Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Manisha Koirala. It is the last release of Mahesh Bhatt as a director. The film borrows its plot idea from the 1993 film Point of No Return, which in turn is a remake of the French film Nikita, where Bridget Fonda essays a role very similar to that of Sanjay Dutt.
Kartoos movie did average business at the box office, after the film’s success it was remade in Tamil as Paramasivan 2006.

Kartoos Movie Story:
To get rid of underworld gangster Jagat Jogia (Gulshan Grover), a criminal Raja (Sanjay Dutt) is trained by police officer ACP Jay Suryavanshi (Jackie Shroff). When Raja tries to flee, Jay shoots him in the leg and performs surgery to implant a transmitter in his leg. Jay can therefore follow Raja wherever he goes, even while he is in the UK. Raja, who was not ‘allowed’ to fall in love by Jay, falls in love with Mini. After killing Jagat Jogia and his gang, Raja is eventually freed by Jay and leads a happy life with Mini.
