Kaante movie is a 2002 Bollywood Hindi action-thriller film, directer is Sanjay Gupta, writer is Milap Zaveri, and Multistar cast are Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Lucky Ali, Mahesh Manjrekar, Kumar Gaurav, Namrata Singh Gujral, Rati Agnihotri, Malaika Arora and Isha Koppikar.
Kaante movie was heavily inspired by Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs,as well as the film that inspired Reservoir Dogs, Ringo Lam’s City on Fire. This film marked as a Amitabh Bachchan’s 100th lead role.
Sanjay Dutt and Sanjay Gupta joined to gather to from a production house White Feather Films with Kaante 2002.
Kaante movie was to release in August 2002 due to differences between international producer Raju Patel and the crew reportedly delayed the film for four months. It is release on 20th December, 2002 with Positive critics reviews and Box office wise Hit film.

Pre-Post Production and Casting :
This film Producers earlier casted Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Mahesh Manjrekar, Kumar Gaurav, Akshaye Khanna, Shilpa Shetty and Lisa Ray. First Akshaye Khanna leaved the project and was replaced by Lucky Ali, while Malaika Arora stepped in by replacing Lisa Ray’s and Namrata Singh Gujral was cast with Kumar Gaurav by replacing the Shilpa Shetty.
The character of Renu Mathur (role to Namrata Singh Gujral) was the only role cast in Hollywood from the entire principal cast. All other principals including Amitabh Bachchan were flown in from Mumbai for the Hollywood shoot. Sunny Deol was also offered Kumar Gaurav’s role initially but He refused.

This film music composer are Anand Raj Anand, Vishal-Shekhar and Lucky Ali while Lyricist are Dev Kohli and Vishal Dadlani. According to the Indian trade website Box Office India, with around 18,00,000 units sold, this film’s music addalbum was the year’s fourth highest-selling. Film songs are ‘Maahi ve’ and ‘Rama re’ are still popular.
The song “Ishq Samundar”, was re-made for the Film Teraa Surroor which was sung by Himesh Reshammiya and Kanika Kapoor. The song Maahi Ve was recreated by Gourav-Roshin in the voice of Neha Kakkar for the film Wajah Tum Ho.
A. R. Rahman was initially selected in to compose music for the film. But later Rahman leaved film without any reason. Music album have 9 Songs listed as per below mentioned with name of Playback singers.
